Kai Marks-Dasent, 15, and Joshua Weinhardt, 13, represented St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the Barbados Sailing Week Junior Regatta January 2026 in Carlisle Bay, Barbados. With 24 junior sailors competing in 10 races over two days, both sailors delivered outstanding performances. Weinhardt claimed first place in the ILCA 4 fleet, and Marks-Dasent came in second in the ILCA 6.
This achievement would not have been possible without the generous support of InterCaribbean Airways, Island Sipz and the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Olympic Committee, whose continued backing plays a vital role in the development of junior sailing.
