Canadian Vessel ‘Venture’ Vanishes After Leaving St Vincent
Canadian Capt. Jay Caunter, aboard SV “VENTURE” left Chateaubelair, St. Vincent, on Mon, Feb 24, and has not been heard from since. At last contact on Mon at about 9:30, Caunter advised he was without an engine. – St Vincent Times
Statement from The Office of The Prime Minister on Bahamas Moorings Ltd. – Bahamas Moorings Ltd, recently granted a seabed lease to install moorings in the Exuma Cays. When the company began to install some moorings in advance of meeting all conditions, they were ordered to cease and desist. – Bahamas Gov
