About the Regatta: The RORC Caribbean 600, organized by the Royal Ocean Racing Club, is a premier offshore race that challenges sailors with a 600-nautical-mile course around 11 Caribbean islands. Celebrating its 16th edition, the 2025 race attracted 66 boats from 32 countries, starting and finishing in Antigua.

Historical Context: Since its inception, the RORC Caribbean 600 has been renowned for its demanding course and vibrant competition, solidifying its place in offshore racing history.

Race Overview: The race commenced from Fort Charlotte, Antigua, with favorable conditions leading to a smooth start. However, participants faced a grueling challenge, particularly on the leg from St. Barths to Guadeloupe.

Notable Outcomes:

  • Overall Winner (IRC): Volvo 70 Tschüss 2 (USA), owned by Christian Zugel and co-skippered by Johnny Mordaunt, secured the overall victory under IRC. Sail World
  • Monohull Line Honours: The Juan K 88 Lucky, skippered by Bryon Ehrhart, claimed Monohull Line Honours with an elapsed time of 1 day, 17 hours, 14 minutes, and 12 seconds. caribbean600.rorc.org
