The St. Edmundsbury Sailing & Canoeing Association held the 13th Antigua Sailing Day Regatta at Lackford Lake, northwest of Bury St. Edmunds, England, on a Sunday afternoon in June. The regatta, started as a celebration of Antigua Sailing Week, has won official sponsorship by the Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority.
Alan Wright won the day’s overall crown, with Mike Steel second. Between-race entertainment by the Dallaway Steel Pan Band, further adding to the Antiguan flavor.
Antigua Sailing Week 2027 in the Caribbean is April 21-25.
