The Antigua Yacht Club is hosting the 22nd Antigua ILCA Open. Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd March, 2025.
RULES: Racing will be governed by the 2024-2028 World Sailing Racing Rules of Sailing, the Laser Class Rules, the prescription of the race committee, and by the sailing instructions.
ENTRY FORMS & FEE:
Entry fee includes 1 lunch on Saturday 22nd
Early Bird Entry Fee – US$60/EC$162.00
Early Bird Payment should be submitted by 4 pm Wednesday 12th March 2025.
The Entry Fee is – US$80/EC$216.00
Payment should be submitted by 4 pm Wednesday, 19th March 2025.
Members: We have a limited amount of Lasers available, if you would like to participate, please hand in your entry form with entry fee to reserve your Laser.
EQUIPMENT: The equipment offered by the club are basic standard Laser/lLCA equipment . Non-members are asked to bring their own lasers or they can charter a boat for US$100 in addition to the entry. A damage deposit of US$100/EC$270 (cash/check) is required to charter the boat.
If one has a preference in equipment, you are more than welcome to bring your own.
COURSE & NO. OF RACES: The races will be sailed in Falmouth Harbour and will be a Trapezoid or Windward/Leeward. There will be a maximum of 12 races.
PRIZES & SCORING: The National championship be awarded to the top Antiguan in the ILCA7 class .
Overall prize 1st, 2nd and 3rd places , 1st in ILCA 6 and 1st in 4.7. Scoring will be in accordance with Appendix A.
