BVI Wreck Week, organized by the BVI Scuba Organization and scheduled for June 15-21, brings diving aficionados together for an exploration of maritime history and underwater wonders in a series of programs both above and below the waterline, designed for groups ranging from beginners to seasoned divers.
The underwater exhibits are the meticulously preserved wrecks and art-reefs that dot the seafloor of the British Virgin Islands, from pirate ships to World War II-era vessels. Also included in the schedule of events are beach parties, live music performances, local cuisine, and educational seminars on marine conservation and preservation.
